These lifetimes are not extended on each visit; Google’s default is 2 years and the site shortens it.

Audience measurement with Google Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful: pages viewed, referring page, visit length, device and browser type, approximate country and city. The IP address is anonymised: Google Analytics 4 neither logs nor stores it. The page address sent to Google is stripped of its parameters, so the figures you enter are never included. Ad storage, ad user data, ad personalisation and Google signals are switched off, and measurement data is shared with no advertiser.

• Processor: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, acting on the publisher’s behalf (Article 28 GDPR). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
• Purpose: audience measurement.
• Retention: 14 months for visit-level and identifier-level data, then deletion; only anonymous totals remain.
• Legal basis: the publisher’s legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Objecting: block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The calculators work exactly the same.

Anonymous stability monitoring

To find what goes wrong (JavaScript errors, slow loading, buttons that do nothing when clicked, broken scrolling), the site uses Microsoft Clarity in cookieless mode. In this mode Clarity sets none of _clck, _clsk, MUID or CLID; each page view has its own identifier, and separate page views or visits are never linked. Page text and every value typed into a field are masked in your browser before anything is sent, so Microsoft never sees your salary or your tax credits.

• Purpose: a technical, anonymous check that the pay and welfare calculators load and give results.
• Retention: 30 days for page-view recordings, 13 months for aggregated figures.
• Legal basis: the publisher’s legitimate interest in running calculators that work (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Objecting: block clarity.ms in your browser or content blocker (the calculators work exactly the same), or email contact@irishnetpay.com.

Hosting logs

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.), whose servers log technical request data (IP address, time, page requested, browser) for security and to keep the service running. The publisher has no access to these logs and does not use them.

Emails

If you write to contact@irishnetpay.com, your message is used to reply and for nothing else; your address is not added to any list or shared.

Your rights

The GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. With no user accounts, the publisher usually holds no data that identifies you; in practice they apply to any email you have sent and to audience measurement, and can also be exercised with Google or Microsoft. You may complain to the Data Protection Commission, 6 Pembroke Row, Dublin 2, D02 X963, Ireland (how to contact the DPC), or to the CNIL in France, where the publisher is established.
